When did you remodel?

The Island Cinema came under new ownership in August of 2008, at that time the Cinema was closed for two months.  The interior was taken down to the studs, bathrooms, lobby, theaters, and projection room were all redone. 

Do you know what movies are coming?

The website is the best place to find what movies we will be getting.  Once we know what we are getting we post it up.

Can I rent out your theater?

Our theater is available for rental, stop by and we will be more than happy to speak with you about opportunities in theater rental for special events, meetings, or private shows.

When can I buy tickets?

Our box office opens 30 minutes prior to the first show, tickets are available at most times 7 days in advance.  We do sell out when the weather turns and during holidays. We suggest purchasing tickets in advance and arriving to the theater at least 30 minutes ahead of time to get the best seats. 

What happened to the frequent movie goer passes? 

We honored the passes for 6 months before discontinuining that program.  Since we under new ownership, we started a new program last summer that we may try again in the future.  Sign up for the newsletter so you will be notified when we start a new program
